Formally, the school’s title is Easebourne Church of England (Controlled) Primary School. As a Church of England School, links between the church and school are strong. The Reverend Derek Welsman is one of our two Foundation Governors. As Vicar of Easebourne, Lodsworth and Selham, he plays a key role in these three communities, all of which fall within the school’s catchment area. Derek visits the school regularly to take weekly assemblies and work with the classes to support relevant areas of their learning.
The school visits St Mary’s Church, Easebourne for services to mark Harvest Festival, Remembrance, Christmas and Easter and there is a final service in the summer for our leavers.
