Easebourne Church of England Primary School is a "controlled" school, which is maintained and financed (mainly) by the Local Authority. The original part of the school was founded in 1872 by George James, Earl of Egremont, and further extensions by his successors over the following 30 years.

The School is in an extremely attractive setting, nestling in amongst the hills of the Sussex countryside. The building itself is a well-thought-out and carefully blended mixture of Victorian and mid twentieth century accommodation
